This Privacy Policy explains how LoveMatch (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use lovematch.cool. LoveMatch is operated by Blackcedar Media Limited. By using our site you agree to the practices described below.

What we collect

We collect two kinds of information. First, when you submit your email address through any of our signup forms (love reports, sign guides, monthly forecasts), we store that email along with the optional zodiac sign you provided and the source page. Second, we collect anonymous page-view analytics — the URL you visited, the referring URL, and your country (derived from your IP address by Cloudflare). We do not store your IP address or any other identifying information.

How we use your data

Email addresses are used only to send you the content you requested — typically monthly love horoscopes, compatibility guides, and occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link at the bottom of every message, or by emailing us directly. Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand which pages are popular and to improve the site. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies for site functionality (e.g., remembering your locale preference) and basic anonymous analytics. We do not use tracking cookies that follow you across sites. If our site begins serving advertising in the future, we will update this policy and disclose the ad networks involved.

Third-party services

Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers, with data stored in Cloudflare D1 (a SQLite database). Cloudflare may log technical request data (timestamps, country, status codes) for security and reliability purposes. Their privacy policy governs that data. We may add Google AdSense for advertising in the future; if so, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Email communications

If you sign up for any of our email lists, you are opting in to receive related content from LoveMatch. We will never send unrelated marketing or share your address with third parties. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also email us directly to be removed from any list.

Data storage and security

Subscriber data and anonymous analytics are stored in Cloudflare D1, a serverless SQLite database hosted in the European Union. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and is encrypted at rest. We retain subscriber emails until you ask us to remove them. Anonymous analytics records are kept indefinitely in aggregate form.

Children’s privacy

LoveMatch is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to our site, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@lovematch.cool from the address you registered with. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated via email to current subscribers when feasible.
